What is the difference between a wireless mouse and keyboard and a USB one?
The main difference (though it may sound obvious) is that a wireless mouse and keyboard connect via electromagnetic waves; through this non-physical medium, data is sent from the transmitting device (the mouse, keyboard, or both) to the receiving device (usually a computer), which translates the data into the expected visual information (pointer movement for the mouse or character input for the keyboard). A USB mouse and keyboard use a physical connection through cables that transmit information point-to-point; the receiving device must have a female USB Type-A connector.
