What is propalcote paper and what is it used for?

Propalcote paper is made with adhered layers to improve printing properties, being of high quality for graphic arts, publishing, and packaging industries. It has an enameled image that makes colors very bright and high definition. The finish of the layers reflects light, creating a glossy effect, which gives an excellent presentation to bindings and product displays made with this paper.

What is propalcote paper like?

Propalcote paper comes in various grammages; it is a paper for high-quality prints in terms of sharpness and color intensity. The presentations we handle are packages of 50 sheets in different grammages:

• 90 gsm
• 115 gsm
• 160 gsm
• 200 gsm
• 240 gsm

It is a material used for many advertising and graphic arts jobs. Ideal for making flyers, posters, cards, and design articles. Precautions: For printing, it is necessary to use specialized printers for this paper, as they handle a non-porous surface that does not allow it to absorb ink. Therefore, laser printers or specialized printers that use quick-drying ink must be used.
