How to organize the palette for painting? 

Each artist finds their personal way of distributing colors according to the range they are using; generally, black, white, and then shades, reds, yellows, greens, and blues are placed on the outer edge, which are then mixed and toned with the brush in the central part of the palette to achieve the desired hues. An artist's palette can vary depending on the themes they address or their work periods.  

Another way to organize your paint palette: 

  • From left to right, white, yellow, red, crimson, ultramarine, Prussian blue, green, ochre, sienna, umber, black. 
  • On these types of palettes, I distribute the colors in the same order. 
  • the types and sizes of palettes I use.
