  • Mainly for aeromodelling, architectural models, and general modeling. 
  • Construction of tanks for chemical products, tubs, wind generator nacelles, automobiles, trucks, boats.  

How are balsa wood sheets used?  

  • Balsa wood is very easy to work with and does not require electric saws or any of the other tools normally used for hardwoods. A utility knife or hand saw and a sanding block are enough to work with it comfortably.  
  • Therefore, it can be cut, sawn, bent (when the grain direction allows), sanded, and glued.
