  • Balsa is very easy to work with and it is not necessary to use electric saws or any other tools normally used for hardwoods; a utility knife or a hand saw and a sanding block are enough to work with it comfortably.  
  • Therefore, it can be cut, sawn, bent (when the grain direction allows it), sanded, and glued.
