In this context, a collection account is a document that states or demands payment of a specific amount, addressed to the creditor from whom payment is requested.A collection account is not a document or title defined by commercial or civil law; its origin is more in custom.A collection account itself does not have executive merit, much less constitute a negotiable instrument, because it does not meet one of the requirements of Article 422 of the General Code of Procedure, which states that it must come from the debtor, and a collection account does not come from the debtor but from the creditor.
