What is Franco Arte Turpentine?

FRANCO ARTE turpentine is especially characterized by its low odor, formulated as a diluent for oil paints, decreasing gloss if used excessively, and is also used for cleaning brushes. It is a transparent, volatile, and flammable liquid. Handle with good ventilation in work areas. Ideal for mixing with metallic and flat oil colors.

Uses of Rectified Turpentine Essence

  1. Mixed with oil, it removes a large amount of oil, making it leaner.
  2. Brushstrokes will flow more.
  3. If applied to varnish, even when dry, it removes it.
  4. For diluting resins.
  5. Your struggle with cleaning tools like brushes will end as it removes all dirt from them.
The way to use it is to apply it to the paint until it dissolves, applying a small amount depending on how much gloss and consistency you desire. It is usually used in the second coat of paint along with linseed oil and in the third coat.
