How to use an AZ lever arch file?
First and foremost, to organize an AZ lever arch file, we must punch holes in the sheets with a two-hole punch. This way, we can attach the papers to the rings. The holes should be made on one of the sides of the sheet, exactly at its mid-height.
Once the sheets are punched, we proceed to order them. We can follow various criteria, depending on the type of papers, one or another will be more suitable. The most common are alphabetically (from A to Z) or by date. We can use dividers to create a separation between documents and thus classify them into different sections.
Finally, we insert the papers into the file. We lift the lever to open the rings, attach the sheets, and lower the lever. This way, the rings remain closed and the papers are held securely.
When we want to add a new document to our AZ letter, 1/2 letter, or legal-size lever arch file, we will do the following: First, we open the sheets to the position where we want to place this new document, then we open the rings by lifting the lever, insert the paper or papers, and finally close the file.
