What is the painting tripod used for?
It is generally used to support a painter's canvas or large sketchbook while the artist is working or to display a finished painting for exhibition. The easel plays an important part as an artistic tool for creating wonders, accompanied by the canvas, brushes, and paint. How does an easel work?
It consists of three vertical posts joined at one end. A rotating mechanism allows the central post to move away from the other two, forming a tripod. The two non-rotating posts have a horizontal piece on which the canvas is placed. Measure the length of the legs to ensure a comfortable working height. For good weight distribution on the easel legs, an angle of 65 degrees from the horizontal, or 25 from the edge of the top board, will work very well; the sum of these angles should be 90 degrees. The quality easel at the perfect working height for you.
