What are Faber Castell skin tone colored pencils like?

Faber Castell skin tone colored pencils, from the "Faces and Colors" line, contain all bright and dark colors and include some shades within the range called skin tones.

They come in presentations of:
  • 12 colors plus 6 skin tones
  • 24 colors plus 6 skin tones

These pencils can form the full diversity of skin colors of all people, from the skin tones they handle in the pencils. The packaging includes a guide on how you can mix colors to get new options of skin tones, and thus know how to perfectly achieve the skin color you wish to paint.

The 6 skin tones come in 3 double-ended, blendable skin tone bicolor pencils.

How to use the Faber Castell skin tone colored pencil box painting guide?

Each of the different skin color tones celebrates the inclusion of all races of people, reminding us of the great richness we have among different cultures.

You can use the guide drawings on the back of the box to understand which tones can be mixed to achieve a different skin color tone. This is done by mixing several pencils, which are marked with the letter T and a number. You will also find the combinations in the guide on the box.
