With a Carbonless Receipt Book, when a service is provided or a product is sold, the seller or service provider must issue an invoice. However, if that person is not obligated to issue an invoice, they issue a collection account. In this context, a collection account is a document that states or claims the payment of a specific value, addressed to the creditor from whom payment is requested. The collection account is not a document or title defined by commercial or civil law, and its origin is more in custom. The collection account itself does not have executive merit, much less does it constitute a negotiable instrument, because it does not comply with one of the requirements of article 422 of the general code of procedure, in that it must come from the debtor, and the collection account does not come from the debtor but from the creditor.What is the presentation of the Carbonless Receipt Book?
The carbonless invoice books or pads come protected by a thin but resistant cardboard, part of which helps us to isolate the sheets we are using from the others and thus prevent what is written from passing to other sheets.
