Baldor's Algebra is a mathematics textbook first printed in Cuba in mid-1944, containing mathematical problems, including arithmetic ones, with over 6000 exercises and their answers.

It is a book for learning how to calculate by memorizing formulas and mechanically repeating procedures in exercises. And in mathematics, while a certain amount of memorization is necessary, it is more important to understand how formulas work and why they work.
