What is a lanyard?

A lanyard is a strap used to hang a badge around the neck. Made of fabric ribbon. Available in various colors, it has a hook at the end that holds a card or document holder. So the lanyard strap is used with plastic badges or other document holders. It consists of:

• A resistant fabric ribbon with a soft texture, 1 centimeter wide and 40 centimeters long.
• A snap-closure metal hook.

This strap, which closes with a safety clasp, has a metal hook that stays tightly closed. When the badge is securely attached, it automatically recloses with the same pressure as the hook. Available in several colors:

• Green
• Black
• White
• Red
• Blue

It is used to display an announcement, in the form of business cards, documents, or announcements, worn by a person to identify themselves to an audience or at an event. The strap helps differentiate people organizing the event or holding a position in a venue. You can choose from the colors to best represent different roles.
