What is a lanyard?

A lanyard is a strap used to hang a badge around the neck. Made of fabric ribbon. Available in various colors, it has a hook at the end that holds a card or document holder. So, the lanyard is used with plastic badges or other document holders.It consists of:

• A metallic snap hook.
