★★★★★ What is a stapler?

A stapler is a tool used to join sheets of paper, plastic, or thin laminates by inserting a staple. They are mostly used by students, office workers, or for any use in stationery due to their practical use of joining pieces of paper in common documents. PartsA manual stapler consists of four articulated elements mounted on an axis:

• The base, which has two shapes that guide the ends of the staple to bend them well, either bringing them together or separating them.
• The staple magazine, at the end of which there are two slots: the upper one, through which the cutter enters; and the lower one, through which the staple exits.
• The pusher, inserted into the magazine, which slides on a rod and is actuated by a spring to push the staples towards the slot.
• The cover, which incorporates a cutter that, when lowered, drives the first staple from the magazine into the paper.
