What is XL glue made of?
High-performance contact adhesive made with chloroprene rubbers and phenolic resins of excellent quality. Designed with the appropriate solid content, viscosity, and open time for perfect performance in medium-demand bonding. It has a characteristic organic solvent odor. It can be applied with a brush, trowel, spatula, roller, or mechanically.What are the advantages of XL glue?

How to use XL glue?
- Ensure that the surfaces to be joined are free of dust, grease, paint, moisture, mold release agents or other anti-adhesive agents that may prevent the adhesive from functioning properly.
- Apply a uniform layer of Traditional XL to the surfaces to be joined.
- Allow the adhesive to dry for 15-20 minutes, or until apparently dry, depending on ambient temperature.a. On porous substrates, it may be necessary to apply a second coat of adhesive.
- Perform the bonding, applying uniform pressure by using clamps or at least by hammering themappropriately.
- To optimize adhesion strength, heat and moisture resistance, it is recommended to mix Traditional XL with Pegaucho Vulcanizing Agent.a. The recommended level of Vulcanizing Agent is 3-5% by weight relative to the adhesive and depending on the type of material.
- Maximum bonding strength is reached 72 hours after bonding.
