What is XL adhesive made of?
High-performance contact adhesive made with high-quality chloroprene rubbers and phenolic resins. Designed with adequate solid content, viscosity, and open time for perfect performance in medium-demand bonds. It has a characteristic organic solvent odor. It can be applied with a brush, trowel, spatula, roller, or mechanically.What are the advantages of XL adhesive?

How to use XL adhesive?
- Ensure that the surfaces to be joined are free of dust, grease, paint, moisture, release agents, or other anti-adhesion agents that could prevent the adhesive from functioning properly.
- Apply a uniform layer of Traditional XL on the surfaces to be joined.
- Allow the adhesive to dry for 15-20 minutes, or until it appears dry, depending on the ambient temperature.a. On porous substrates, it may be necessary to apply a second coat of adhesive.
- Make the bond, applying uniform pressure by using clamps or, at a minimum, striking them appropriately with a hammer.
- To optimize adhesion strength, heat and moisture resistance, it is recommended to mix Traditional XL with Vulcanizante Pegaucho.a. The recommended level of Vulcanizante is 3-5% by weight relative to the adhesive and depending on the type of material.
- Maximum bond strength is achieved 72 hours after bonding.
