What is XL glue made of?
A high-performance contact adhesive made with chloroprene rubbers and high-quality phenolic resins. Designed with appropriate solid content, viscosity, and open time for perfect performance in medium-demand bonds. Has a characteristic organic solvent odor. It can be applied with a brush, trowel, spatula, roller, or mechanically.What are the advantages of XL glue?

How to use XL glue?
- Ensure that the surfaces to be joined are free of dust, grease, paint, moisture, release agents, or other non-stick agents that may prevent proper adhesive function.
- Apply a uniform layer of Traditional XL on the surfaces to be joined.
- Allow the adhesive to dry for 15-20 minutes, or until it appears dry, depending on the ambient temperature.a. On porous substrates, a second coat of adhesive may be necessary.
- Join the surfaces, applying uniform pressure using presses or, at minimum, tapping them with a hammer in an appropriate manner.
- To optimize bond strength, heat resistance, and moisture resistance, it is recommended to mix Traditional XL with Pegaucho Vulcanizing agent.a. The recommended level of Vulcanizing agent is 3-5% by weight relative to the adhesive and depending on the type of material.
- Maximum bonding strength is reached 72 hours after bonding.
