How to choose the right brush size 

To choose your brush size, you should know that the larger the area you are painting, the larger the brush you need. Brushes larger than size 9 are ideal for painting broad surfaces. 

Brush Characteristics 

The word "pincel" (brush) comes from the word "pinzell" in Latin, which in turn comes from the vulgar Latin "penicellus", which was the word used to refer to the tails of four-legged animals. The strong and rustic bristles of the brush are ideal for all types of paints, especially for oil paint and industrial uses. The bristles are resistant and flexible and give a beautiful brushstroke. It is ideal for fine arts. Flat brushes are ideal for painting due to their size and fineness, which allow for the creation of masterpieces. If you want more precision, it will depend on the fineness of the subject and the size of the artwork's support. For this, we use round or pointed brushes.
