  • Mainly for aeromodelling, architectural models, modeling. 
  • Construction of tanks for chemicals, tubs, bathtubs for wind generators, cars, trucks, boats.  

How are balsa wood sheets used?  

  • Balsa wood is very easy to work with and it is not necessary to use power saws or any other tools normally used for hardwoods; a utility knife or hand saw and a sanding block are enough to work with it comfortably.  
  • Therefore, it can be cut, sawn, bent (when the grain direction allows it), sanded and glued.
