What is a protractor and what is its function?
It is used to measure angles up to 180 degrees. To use it, place its base, which is the 0° angle, on one end of the angle to be measured and slide the ruler until it aligns with the other angle, so that the exact value can be seen, according to the measurements drawn on the ruler.
How is the protractor used?
To measure an angle in degrees, the initial side of the angle is aligned with the right radius of the protractor (0° ray) and the measurement is determined, counterclockwise, by extending the arms of the angle if necessary for better visibility.
