Which lead is better: 0.5 or 0.7 mm leads? 

The 0.7 mm lead. Ideal for numerical writing, as it is a more resistant and smooth writing lead. When writing, it is not necessary to press as hard as with a 0.5 mm lead , which leaves fewer grooves on the paper when erasing mistakes.
